Sponsoring Meetups to Support the Local Pasadena Community
The Meetup revolution has taken the world by storm over the past decade, claiming over 22 million members in 180 countries and 200,000 meetup groups. Meetups are an awesome way to connect with, teach, and learn from, like-minded people.
As such, SpaceCraft sponsors meetups who we feel are valuable to not only its own members, but also to the Pasadena business community as a whole. We do our best to select meetups that any business person, freelancer, or entrepreneur, will be able to apply to their own businesses. Today, we are extremely happy to showcase two meetups SpaceCraft currently sponsors: Convert Summit and SGV Drupal.
Convert Summit is a meetup with dozens of self-described Digital Marketers who learn about the many channels and disciplines of digital marketing. Of these channels includes Paid Advertising, Remarketing, Search Engine Optimization, and others. The meetup is led by Yan Huang, who has years of experience in the digital marketing space and building his own businesses. Yan currently runs his own Press Release service PressReleaseJet.com that competes with big PR giants like PR Newswire on a lower price point. In today’s age of technology, having an online presence is absolutely crucial for the growth and sustainability of any business. However, without the necessary knowledge, creating this online presence can be a daunting and confusing task. Luckily, there are people like Yan who can help to de-mystify the process for business owners!
Convert Summit holds monthly meetups and will meet next on Wednesday, June 1st, at 7 PM in the SpaceCraft Co-Working Space. You can learn more about the meetup here: http://www.meetup.com/convertsummit/
SGV Drupal is part of the Greater Los Angeles Area Drupal meetup, which has hundreds of self-described Drupaleros and has almost 200 meetups under its belt. The meetup is led by Paul Coleman, who has extensive experience in “most everything computer related.” Drupal is a free, open source, content management system that can used to easily create and manage many types of web site. Drupal is used across a wide spectrum of experience levels from multi-national corporations like Warner Music Group to smaller, non-techie small businesses.
SGV Drupal holds monthly meetups and will meet next on Thursday, May 26th, at 6 PM in the SpaceCraft Co-Working Space. You can learn more about the meetup here: https://groups.drupal.org/node/511305
SpaceCraft feels very privileged to sponsor these exemplary meetups and is actively looking for more meetups to sponsor. If you have a meetup that you’d like to host at SpaceCraft free of charge, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org!
